I was at the supermarket and saw?

Trooper asked:

1 ) A bottle of rich extra virgin olive oil brand, which states “Cold pressing of the olive and is filtered before bottling to remove the natural sediment.”

2 ) A bottle of rich extra virgin olive oil brand that’s “Organic.”

What makes them different ? And which one should I buy that will benefit me health wise ?

Order Extra Virgin Organic Olive Oil from Greece Online

They are both extra virgin so both are pretty healthy and full of essential fats. The worst kind to buy is the Italian one, get turkish or greek style extra virgin. SO much healthier.
But I;d go for organic, something to do with when the oil was in natural form, there were some ingredients that weren’t added. It’s probably a bit better, but not a lot.

Gourmet Dishes with Greek Olive Oil

Extra virgin olive oil means that it’s the oil from the first press of the olives and no chemicals or extra processing is used to get your oil. You want that. You also want cold pressing.

Organic refers to the way the olives were raised…without chemical fertilizers or chemical pesticides. I tend to like purchasing everything I can organically raised, for a huge variety of reasons, from health of the environment to the health of my family.

    Olives Oils in Healthy Nutrition

Taste wise you probably cannot tell the difference.
Number 1 probably applies to most olive oils whether it says so on the label or not because that is how olive oil is made.
Whether organic is healthier is a big ongoing debate. Olive oil isn’t usually eaten on a daily basis so even if it is healthier to use organic it won’t make that much difference.
