Gluten-Free Diet Calories?
I believe I may have a sensitivity to gluten, but before I go to the doctors I want to try going gluten-free for a month to see a difference. However, I’m afraid I won’t be eating enough calories. Is taking shots of Olive Oil a safe way to increase calories without eating more? I used to take shots of olive oil and it benefits me greatly health wise, so I’m not worried about it causing problems, but would it be an alright way to maintain steady calories?

You can eat rice. Also, there are plenty of gluten free products you can purchase at the store. I eat burgers – without the bun, chicken, fish, veggies, fruit. Plenty of calories – no problem. I’m not sure why you would want to take shots of olive oil. It’s best to cook with it – but to take shots, makes no real sense.

Gourmet Dishes with Greek Olive Oil
Calorie issues is not a problem in going gluten free. You can still eat enough calories for your daily needs by eating the right gluten free foods. A gluten free bread is a good example of a GF food where you can get enough calories everyday. If you have no idea where to get a gluten free bread. My suggestion is Katz gluten free bread, they have a list of local stores nationwide.
